Hello Pfoho! This is my fourth year at Harvard Medical School (where I am enrolled in the M.D. program) and my third in Pfoho as Resident Tutor. I was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan and came to the US for college in 2011. I attended Harvard College from 2011-15 where I studied Neurobiology and Modern Arabic. On campus, I was involved with Health Leads, the Health Policy Review and the FAS Committee on Public Service. After graduating in 2015, I worked for a year at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health, studying the Partition of British India from a humanitarian perspective. Though my career interests lie at the intersection of clinical care and global health delivery, I am interested in all things anthropology, decolonization and social justice related. In addition to being a sophomore advisor and being on the premed committee, I am a wellness tutor.
