Hygge on Sunday evenings (winter only)

As the days get shorter and the weather gets colder,Pfoho begins a tradition of cultivating Hygge, a Danish word (pronounced "hooga") that refers to practices of cultivating coziness, community, and comfort. On Sunday evenings, we strive for all these things by lighting a fire in the fireplace in Comstock Living room, putting out candles, and laying out blankets. We also lay out trays of freshly-made bakery donuts (usually from an award-winning bakery we favor in Watertown) and offer cups of cinnamon-infused hot cider. Drop by for a few minutes, or come linger on our comfy couches, chatting with old and new friends.
