Hi Pfoho!! I'm so honored to be joining this amazing community. I was born and raised a Southern girl (having mostly grown up in Raleigh, NC) and went to Duke for undergrad (sorry UNC fans) to study neuroscience, linguistics, and German. I took a gap year for research at WashU while applying to grad school and am now in my third year of the Harvard/MIT MD-PhD Program studying neurodevelopment. My academic interests lie in pediatric neuro-oncology, critical/palliative care, asylum medicine, and teaching/mentoring- and outside of that I play a lot of music and cherish time with loved ones and my canine roommate Josie (who is ALWAYS up for attention and pets).
