Hi Pfoho! This will be my fourth year as a resident tutor. I have been working at Harvard for about seven years in the Active Learning Labs in the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). I was a first-gen college student getting a B.S. (S.B. for you Harvard folks) in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Manufacturing Engineering. After my bachelor's, I worked at iRobot for a while making floor cleaning robots, quit to get my master's and then worked at Medtronic on medical devices. I love building things and helping others learn how to build things.

I also love to keep busy and participate in all kinds of hobbies. For my artistic side I love to throw pottery at the Harvard Ceramics Program. For my nerdy side I love to do puzzles; the hard kind that don’t really have instructions (google: MIT Mystery Hunt/BAPHL/NPL). For my sporty side I play ice hockey and do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and participate in intramurals when I can. I then have other hobbies that I pick up like making bean-to-bar chocolate with Keith, helping him with the garden, or play random video games. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and our door is open if you want to chat or play with Sammy (our cat).
