Hi Pfoho! This will be my third year as a resident tutor, and hopefully we can make something good out of 2020. I have been working at Harvard for about six years in the Active Learning Labs in the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). I have a B.S. (S.B. for you Harvard folks) in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Manufacturing Engineering. I worked at iRobot for a while making floor cleaning robots and Medtronic on medical devices. I love building things and helping others learn how to build things.

I also love to keep busy and participate in all kinds of hobbies. For my artistic side I love to throw pottery at the Harvard Ceramics Program. For my nerdy side I love to do puzzles; the hard kind that don’t really have instructions (google: MIT Mystery Hunt/BAPHL/NPL). For my sporty side I play ice hockey and do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and participated in a few intramurals last year. I then have other hobbies that I pick up like making bean-to-bar chocolate with Keith that we are hoping to get some of you involved in. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and our door is open if you want to chat or play with Sammy (our cat).
