Wellness, Pfellowships
I’m super excited to join the Pfamily this year! I’ll be helping out with the Pfellowships and Wellness teams. I’m Russian-American; my family emigrated to the States from Moscow after the fall of the Soviet Union and I grew up in California. I graduated from Columbia University in 2018 with a degree in English Literature and Russian Language and Culture. I went on to get my M.Phil. in Slavonic Studies at Oxford as a Clarendon scholar, where I started learning Polish and fell in love with Polish poetry. Since I started my doctorate in Harvard’s Slavic Department, I’ve gotten really into Czech poetry and my intention moving forward is to work comparatively in a field that is largely Russo-centric, which I’m really excited about. I’m also a literary translator and a poet. I love making excessively garnished smoothies, fixing bikes, and knitting socks. I will be hosting Cat Office Hours with my kitten Moon, so come have some tea and chat with us.
Can’t wait to get to know all of you!
