Interested in Becoming a Non-Resident Tutor?

Pforzheimer House is one of twelve undergraduate Houses at Harvard (and, we would argue, is the best). We advise our students in a number of ways, but one important resource is our amazing team of resident and non-resident tutors.

Pforzheimer non-resident tutors are highly qualified, interested, and passionate individuals that can offer up assistance, advice, and mentorship to our students based on their areas of expertise. Our non-resident tutor team works directly with students or in partnership with our resident tutors—this is a team effort.

We are pleased to offer each non-resident tutor access to our House, in addition to three meals each week during the school year. As a non-resident tutor, we would hope you’d attend two evening orientation/meet-and-greet events at the beginning of the year, an All House Advising Night in early October and a handful of house events and social events throughout the year.

We are looking for qualified non-resident tutors in all academic and career fields. Applications are rolling throughout the summer, but submissions submitted by September 5 will receive priority review.
