What’s up Pfoho! I am so excited to be returning for a third year in the House! I was born and raised in Kansas (yes, I know I am not in Kansas anymore, and no, I did not bring Toto with me!). I moved to NYC for undergrad, where I began as a Journalism major, then switched to Spanish, then discovered Russian and switched to that, and finally somehow ended up with more credits in Classics (mostly Latin and some Ancient Greek), so that is what is on my degree! After undergrad I did a Masters in Medieval Welsh Literature in Aberystwyth, Wales, where I still spend summers and holidays. Here at Harvard I am doing my PhD. in Celtic Languages and Literatures. My research focuses on healing charms and magic in medieval and early modern Welsh manuscripts, along with the history of medicine. I love traveling, 90s music, 90s everything really, s’mores, bonfires, adventures, basketball, football... okay I pretty much enjoy anything (except olives, I really dislike those!) and I love learning new and interesting things, so stop by and chat sometime! My roles in the House will include LGBTQ, humanities-centered advising, and I will also be involved in some IMs. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you however I can. Stop by and see me, Jordan, and our kitten Giles!
