Pfaculty Deans' Aide
Julia DeAngelo
Hello, Pfoho! I am grateful and thrilled to join this community. As an Aide, I'm most looking forward to preparing savory dishes, (though I will also assemble my fair share of fancy cheese platters) and getting to know as many of you as possible. Before my time in the kitchen, I graduated from Harvard in December 2017 with a concentration in sociology. I feel fascinated by questions in many disciplines, especially around the opportunities, realities, and satisfaction of workers, and the beliefs and practices of communities of faith. Some of my favorite things I've done during college and afterwards include working at a foster care agency, scripting interview questions for a public radio station, and teaching English in Japan. I am passionate about communication as a public service, trying to reduce and re-purpose the materials I and others use, and living life alongside others. I am delighted to be here and look forward to meeting you -- please join me at the faculty deans’ events, in the dining hall, or next door at the Harvard Dance Center!
