Hi everyone! I am excited to rejoin the Pfoho community this year. I grew up in New York City and came to Harvard for college where I studied social anthropology. I was lucky enough to live in Pfoho with my best friends to this day! After college, I spent time in the UK doing a Master’s in African Studies through a Harvard UK Fellowship and conducted reproductive health research in Ethiopia via a Fulbright fellowship (so please reach out if you are interested in these fellowships!).
I’m currently a third-year student in the MD-PhD program at Harvard Medical School/GSAS, and am starting a PhD in Social Anthropology this fall. I am passionate about reproductive justice and migration. Outside of school, I enjoy speaking with family and friends, editing friends’ writing, and making food. In Pfoho, I’m excited to join the Pre-Med tutor team and to help cultivate space for reflection and advocacy with the Race Relations team.
I can’t wait to get to know you all, and please do not hesitate to reach out for anything!
