Hello Pfohomies! I'm very happy to share this wonderful (read: the best) house with you all! I was born and raised in rural Iowa before my family whisked me off to Durban, South Africa when I was 7. We lived there for 3 years before returning to Iowa. Then at 14, I moved again to Perth, Western Australia, where I went to high school. I returned to the U.S. for undergrad at Columbia in New York, and after graduating, I managed a social neuroscience lab at Stanford for 2 years. But after all of this traveling, I'm overjoyed to have landed here at Harvard, where I'm working on a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. I absolutely love living with all you wonderful people here in Pfoho. This year, I look forward to even more awesome conversations about anything from chocolate to the meaning of life. I help all the psychologists in the building as the psych concentration advisor, so come on by if you want to talk about classes, labs, or spontaneous social experiments you think we should launch. I'm also here to support BGLTQ students, and I always love hearing your ideas for fun and fabulous (or deep and moving) events or input on what you think Harvard can do improve how it supports the community. So stop on by, say hi, smile, wave, or do whatever you need to catch my attention, because I'd love to get to know you!
