How do I reserve a room?

Room Reservations

Pfoho Uses RoomBook to manage reservations for common spaces throughout the House

How to make a room reservation in RoomBook:

Log in to roombook.harvard.edu with your HarvardKey. Rooms available to Pfoho students, staff, and affiliates should show up immediately when searching for a space to book. You’ll be able to view what is available versus what is already reserved and be prompted to answer a few questions (number of attendees, if you’ll be serving food in a space). You will receive an automated confirmation email once the process is complete.

Who can reserve spaces in Pfoho?

All Pfoho students, tutors, staff, and affiliates can reserve rooms in Pfoho for small group meetings and events.

Which spaces are reservable through RoomBook?

The Moors Classrooms (1, 2, and 3), the Practice Rooms located in the basement of Holmes Hall, and the Pfojo are all available for reservation without administrative approval for members of the Pfoho community. Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance for these spaces. To use one of these spaces day-of without a reservation, you can scan the QR code posted in the room to see if it is previously reserved. If the space is not previously reserved through RoomBook for use in that moment, you are welcome to use it. All spaces should be left the way you found it, with chairs and tables/other equipment put back into original formation at the end of your time in the space.

Larger spaces including the Comstock Living Room, Holmes Heritage Room, and the Hastings Room are reservable with administrative approval for group meetings and events. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed. Alcohol is not allowed in House common spaces such as these unless it is a House-sponsored event (think HoCo Stein or House-led reception).

Reservations for the Comstock Living Room, Holmes Heritage Room, and the Hastings Room should be submitted at least 48 hours in advance and are approved during business hours (M-F 9:00am to 5:00pm). These spaces are reserved as is, which means you can expect the furniture and set up you see in the spaces on an every-day basis available to you. If you have special requests or further needs, please indicate that in the event description in your reservation.

What about the Igloo??

The Igloo is reserved as part of the Party Registration process supported by our Resident Dean, Academic Coordinator, and our Resident Tutor team. Please see the Party page of our website for more information regarding the Igloo.
